Clyde Bessey
Clyde's Origin: His high school english teacher said he could either write an essay or make a video. The choice was clear, and he never looked back.
MOST LIKELY TO: Give an inspirational speech at the beginning of a shoot day, just to set the right mood for the crew.
Clyde pushes his projects to the limit, leading teams of filmmakers to achieve collective goals larger than any individual could do alone. Content can be a way of connecting, and he strives to create work that finds a common ground among us. Exploring these ideas is his passion as a storyteller, and executing it as a reality is his job. He's a natural fit for directing content in the Tech and Health space for brands like KitchenAid, Theragun, RED Digital Cinema, Adobe, and Upright.

Frame.Io: “Camera-To-Cloud”
Bleeding edge tech is always beta, and that can either strike fear into a filmmaker’s heart, or inspire them to create something totally new using the tools at hand. Michael Cioni and the Prod Squad (Frame.io’s internal production team that felt more like a family) created a unique concept for their latest Camera-to-Cloud commercial that put the focus behind the camera in a beautiful way. The purpose was clear: show filmmakers what the modern workflow looks like, and they took it one step further by putting their own technology to the test and using it themselves. That’s gutsy.
Therabody: “Theragun G4 Series”
We worked with Therabody throughout their re-branding process, creating a series of videos featuring diverse talent, scenarios and features that took the original Theragun to the next level. Helping brands expand and grow fuels our passion.
Kitchenaid: "Light & Shadow"
When Kitchen Aid released their newest dual-style mixer, we were excited to play with the idea of "Light and Shadow". We created a practical in camera lighting effect to express this visual motif, and couldn't be happier with the results.
RED Digital Cinema: “Dreamscape”
Darren Miller’s dream of becoming a cinematographer was sparked at a young age. Growing up in the Midwest, he got his start filming his friends skateboarding. This piece is dedicated to the determined young creators, the innovators, and the tools they use to make their dreams come true.
